What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras in our Council Chamber and Committee Room capture the live information, which allows anyone to view the meeting.  Through your internet connection you can view the meetings live or as an archive at a later date or time.   The archives allow you to view the meeting at your leisure and, through the use of the index points, allow you to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker. Archived webcasts are kept for 12 months.
